are still evaluating the fix as the electronics are drying out. Data dropouts have been happening at random times. We are
continuing to
resolve the issues.

from our location 24/7.

How do we make the NOAA stream work?
It starts with an external antenna. We use a 1/4
wave ground plane antenna for 162.550 Mhz at 25 feet high. Coax runs
from the antenna to an old Uniden Bearcat 210XL scanner tuned to the NOAA
broadcast. The audio from the scanner runs to a sound card line input on our
Weather Server computer. (P3 600mhz Dell with 384mb of memory and Windows
XPpro) Using Oddcast-V3, we digitize the audio and send the stream to
Weather Underground for world wide web distribution.
